What are the Cardinals doing?
FOOKOO signed today
Tejada went today.
Rowand goes WEST.
Why have we not heard anything? I am trying to be patient but it is hard when good/decent players are evaporating from the Cardinals sight.
I hope Mo has something valuable for us before March. We need it.

I have no idea. Honestly! If we wouldn’t have won a championship 2 years ago i’d be angry. But I guess I can still give them the benefit of the doubt.
But it’s lookin like a 3rd/4th place projection in the Central this year.

They must be punting this year. I have no idea why they are sitting on their hands. Thay did almost the same thing last year…..Look where that got us.

Well, I really don’t see the Cards doing anything next year. They’re offense really isn’t too good, and the pitching is nothing to brag about.

I do think they are taking a long-term view of things, not making moves just to make moves. If ‘08 suffers, hopefully we make it up from ‘09 on.

And now we’ve pretty much given away Jimmy E. I’ve got to be honest, I actually like this deal because it forces us to go young in the OF but I sure hope we use the saved money to improve the team. We still need a big arm at the front of the rotation. Unless we’re secretly a player for Bedard, Mo is going to have to pull something big out of his hat that we didn’t see coming (like Walt used to do).
