Chris Duncan value?

Chris Duncan has not had a very good year, so far. Can we afford to stick him out there for the times that we do? His defensive ability has almost been a negative number. His hitting has not been very effective. What can we do?

Can we trade him for a mid level prospect to the American League? I would like to cut ties with him soon.

It is still my hope we can get a left field impact bat. Is there any available that we can snag? At least one that is not Bonds?

It’s rumored that Xavier Nady is on the trading block, he would be a great bat to add.

I just read that Matt Holiday of all people might be available. It’s basically speculation at this point but the argument is that the Rockies won’t be able to afford him so they might look to trade him this year. That would finally give us the bat to protect Pujols and would be a wonderful replacement for Duncan. I wonder if Duncan, Reyes, and a prospect or two would be enough to get that deal done?
