Bases loaded 2 out, down one, bottom of the 9th…we have all played that game. In dreamland we are a winner. But in reality, last night we couldn’t get the job done. How many of us were frustrated by this? Most all of us. Pujols, after a one game teaser, looked like how he did in every game this year except on that fateful Sunday when he took two deep and gave us hope. We are in serious trouble this year.
Pitching, overall, has been very good. Offensively we have struggled. Time to make some changes. Acquire or bring up John Rodriguez. Purchase or trade for a major league ready hitter. We are futile on offense. Don’t waste any more good pitching.

We didn’t address this in the off-season and I don’t expect to do anything soon. Sure, we may catch fire…and I hope so. I am not overly optimistic.
