Jeremy Rivas -The Prospect
He is a shortstop with a reputation as a solid defender. His size lends him to be a contact hitter with a small amount of gap power but hasn’t developed home run power in his small body. He has soft hands but lacks quickness needed to stick t his natural position. He is projected to become a second or third baseman as he moves up through the organization. His arm is strong enough for shortstop its his quickness concerns.
Jeremy Rivas is projecting along nicely with a high ceiling that is several years away. In rookie ball he played in 48 games and hit .271 with no home runs and 16 RBI’s in 177 at-bats. His ETA is projected to be 2024.
